The board keeps the formal side of the association running. It can be very rewarding and is a great experience to learn new skills, meet new people and to write down on your resumé.
VSA Amsterdam is currently looking for four people to fill the following roles:
President
In the role of president, you keep an overview of the association. Tasks include: chairing the board meetings, staying in contact with the events committee and keeping an overview of the discounts.
Secretary
In the role of secretary, you are in charge of internal communication. Tasks include: writing the agenda and the minutes, creating the task list, doing the membership registration.
Treasurer
In the role of treasurer, you keep track of our finances and formal affairs. Tasks include keeping an overview of the income and expenses, reimbursing members and updating the KvK-registration
Head of Marketing
You will be in charge of the social media and our website. Tasks include making designs for social media, running Instagram and Facebook and updating our website.
What are we looking for?
Vegan-minded
This might not come as a surprise: one of the main conditions of a board member is that you are vegan-minded!
Student
As a board member, you need to currently study, or have studied the previous year, at a university or a university of applied sciences.
Motivation
One of the most important things is motivation and willingness to learn. You will work 1-2 hours per week on the assocation, so you need to have fun!
English-Speaking
As we are an international association, you need to be able to expess yourself in English.
