Met ruim 2.000 bezoekers is dit het grootste vegan evenement in Nederland. Het evenement wordt georganiseerd door de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Veganisme (NVV) en staat open voor iedereen – van doorgewinterde vegans tot nieuwsgierige flexitariërs. De ticketverkoop is nu gestart.  \n\n\n\n“De NVV organiseert deze fair omdat de behoefte aan diervriendelijker en duurzamer leven toeneemt\,” vertelt Danielle Vol-van der Holst\, voorzitter van de NVV. “Veganisme wordt steeds meer omarmd. Met de NLVegan Fair laten we zien dat een 100 procent veganistisch evenement heel goed mogelijk is. En vooral ook heel erg leuk is.”  \n\n\n\nStands en activiteiten \n\n\n\nBezoekers van de fair kunnen tussen 11.00 en 18.00 uur tientallen stands ontdekken met plantaardige producten – van kaas\, gebak en bonbons tot kleding\, schoenen en lifestyleartikelen. De deelnemers zijn een mix van lokale ondernemers en internationale merken. Naast shoppen en proeven zijn er diverse activiteiten\, zoals kookdemonstraties\, speeddatesessies gericht op vriendschap ‘Meet je NLVegan Fair Maatje’ en een creatieve hoek voor jong en oud.  \n\n\n\nBlokje vegan kaas om de wereld te verbeteren \n\n\n\nDe NLVegan Fair biedt ook ruimte aan vier sprekers. De eerste spreker is inmiddels bekend: Hille van der Kaa\, CEO van Those Vegan Cowboys\, een innovatief bedrijf dat werkt aan een wereld zonder dierlijke zuivel. Met behulp van hun roestvrijstalen koe Margaret maken zij kaas – maar dan zonder koe. Van der Kaa neemt de bezoekers mee in de wereld van precisiefermentatie en biotechnologie.
